Easily Explore Our Programs

We’ve organized all our programs on one convenient page. Additionally, you can now explore specific programs by county! We serve 10 counties in Northwest Michigan, including Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Roscommon, Wexford, and Missaukee. Specific services are only available in certain counties. Reviewing your region will help you discover what is offered in your location. If you have additional questions please contact us.

Each program is clearly categorized so you can find what you need quickly.

Our Core Programs

We have five main departments, each offering services across our region:

  • Housing & Energy Efficiency Services
We reduce energy costs, improve health, and make homes safer through Emergency Repairs and Low-Income Weatherization.
  • Homeless Prevention Program
Our mission is to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring in our communities.
  • Homeownership and Financial Center
We help low- to moderate-income households achieve financial independence through education and home counseling.
  • Child and Family Development
From prenatal support to school readiness, our early childhood programs provide comprehensive services for infants, toddlers, and families.
  • Food Programs
Fighting hunger is a priority. We offer food assistance through monthly distribution and senior nutrition programs.

Economic Security Services

We’re proud to introduce our new Economic Security services, developed to listen and respond to community needs. These projects include:

  • The Laundry Project
This initiative provides free washing and drying services at participating laundromats in Traverse City.
  • The Diaper Project
Qualifying families can receive diapers free of charge through this service.
