The Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency (NMCAA) is a dedicated non-profit organization serving 10 counties in Northwest Michigan: Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Missaukee, Roscommon, and Wexford. Since 1974, NMCAA has been committed to bridging the gap between poverty and self-sufficiency. Our mission is to drive positive change by offering opportunities that promote independence, enhance quality of life, and strengthen community connections.
We achieve our mission through a range of community-based programs, including child and family development services, financial navigation resources, secure housing opportunities, and food distribution.
