School Success Partnership
Program History
School Success Partnership
The Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency proudly offers the School Success Partnership Program. This program gives academic support to pre-kindergarten through 12th grade students who face challenges that put them at risk of academic failure.
What sets School Success apart is its holistic approach to addressing the complex issues that contribute to academic struggles. Recognizing that school failure is often linked to broader issues like chronic poverty, unemployment, and family difficulties, School Success takes a comprehensive approach. By collaborating with students, families, schools, and community agencies, the program addresses not just academic challenges but also the underlying issues that can hinder success.
Through School Success, students receive personalized support to meet their individual unique needs. Whether they are facing family issues, attendance problems, struggling with academic skills students are met with understanding and support. The program works to increase school attendance, improve academic performance, enhance parental involvement, and remove barriers that stand in the way of success.
This program is currently available in select Traverse City Area Public Schools and Bellaire Public Schools.
