Free Tax Filing

Northwest Michigan Action Agency provides Free IRS-Certified Tax Preparation to help eligible community members at or below $100,000 AGI. Additionally, these programs are made possible by training through the IRS VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) as well as TCE (Tax Counseling for the Elderly) programs. 

Along with NMCAA’s Free Tax Program we also partner with additional organizations to provide free tax preparation in other locations. Furthermore, we service 10 counties throughout Northwest Michigan.
