Homebuyer Education Workshop

NMCAA’s Homebuyer Education workshop is led by HUD-Certified Budget and Housing Counselors,
along with regional experts who provide personalized guidance throughout the homebuying process.
Participants gain knowledge on improving credit scores, understanding different types of mortgages,
and getting pre-qualified. The workshop also covers what to expect when shopping for a home, how to
prepare for closing, and the responsibilities of sustainable homeownership. With the opportunity for
individual support, this course equips first-time buyers with the tools and confidence needed to
successfully transition into homeownership.

Cost: $75 per household or $100 for the self-paced option.
