NMCAA’s Community Action Program
Comprehensive Support for Northwest Michigan
The Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency (NMCAA) provides a wide range of community action programs. To effectively serve the extensive 10-county region, we have established five departments. Each department features specialized programs tailored to meet individual needs. These departments focus on housing and energy efficiency, homeless prevention, homeownership, financial education, food programs, and child and family development. As a community action agency, NMCAA works tirelessly to uplift and empower local communities through various community action initiatives.
Furthermore, our organization carefully designs every program to address all aspects of life. Additionally, each program reflects our genuine care for the community, highlighting our steadfast commitment to improving the quality of life for residents across Northwest Michigan. We celebrated our 50th anniversary with pride this past April. As a result, we have been inspired to renew our dedication to serving the community with even greater enthusiasm through our varied community action programs.
